VIRTUAL COACHING
Live, Personalized 1:1 Troubleshooting & Coaching
Professional guidance for pet dog owners before, during, and after bringing a dog into their lives.

This is not another cookie-cutter, pre-recorded training program...
If you've owned a dog for more than five minutes, you've probably already watched the videos, read the articles, followed the social media tips, and maybe even attended a class or worked with another trainer. The problem isn't always a lack of information. You may be much closer to your goal than you realize! A small adjustment in timing, body language, communication, consistency, motivation, expectations, or how you're using your training tools can make all the difference. The challenge is knowing which piece is missing. That's where we come in. Our Virtual Coaching Program includes live, personalized 1:1 troubleshooting and coaching directly with Mariann, owner and head trainer of We Are One K9 Training. Together, we'll evaluate your unique situation, identify potential roadblocks, answer your questions, and create a clear path forward based on your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle. No generic training plans. No guessing. No trying random advice from the internet and hoping something sticks. Whether you're choosing the right breed, preparing for a new puppy, raising an adolescent dog, welcoming a rescue or foster dog into your home, working through everyday training challenges, or simply looking for professional guidance, we're here to help. In fact, our coaching packages are available for puppies as young as 8 weeks old. Many owners wait until problems appear or vaccinations are complete before seeking help, but some of the most important lessons and habits begin long before your puppy ever goes for their first walk. No fluff, just personalized guidance, honest feedback, and practical next steps designed specifically for you and your dog. And if we believe your goals require a different level of support, we'll tell you during your complimentary phone consultation. We'll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and help determine whether Virtual Coaching is the right fit for you and your dog. For more complex behavior concerns, we may recommend one of our Board & Train programs instead.

Who Is Virtual Coaching For?
Virtual Coaching is designed to help dog owners identify what's holding them back from achieving their training goals. Together, we'll create a plan tailored to your lifestyle, goals, and the dog in front of you—not a one-size-fits-all training program. Dog training is largely about owner education. Rather than focusing on what you're doing wrong, we'll focus on helping you better understand your dog, explore new possibilities, and develop practical skills that support long-term success. Sometimes small adjustments in communication, expectations, routines, timing, or training strategy can make a big difference. This program may be a great fit if: • You want personalized guidance, accountability, and feedback. • You understand that dog training is largely about owner education and are excited to learn more about your dog's behavior, communication, and needs. • You're open to making adjustments to your routines, habits, expectations, or training approach in order to help your dog succeed. • You've already watched videos, attended classes, completed online programs, or worked with trainers but still feel like something is missing. • You want practical answers and step-by-step guidance, whether you enjoy understanding the "why" behind the training or simply want to know what to do next. • You're willing to practice for at least 15 minutes a day between sessions. • You're preparing for a new puppy, rescue dog, foster dog, baby, cat, or additional dog and want to set everyone up for success from the start. • You'd like ongoing support and the option to return for additional coaching as new goals, challenges, or life changes arise.
What Issues Can We Work On?
Virtual Coaching can help with a wide range of training and behavior goals, including: • Preparing for a new puppy, rescue dog, baby, cat, or additional dog. • Puppy foundations, including potty training, crate training, socialization, confidence building, and age-appropriate life skills. • Leash pulling and developing better leash skills. • Dogs that are friendly but struggle to stay calm around other dogs, people, or distractions. • Recall and off-leash foundations. • Impulse control and learning how to make better choices around distractions. • Confidence building for shy, nervous, or insecure dogs. • Fear, anxiety, and helping dogs navigate the world more comfortably. • Building motivation, engagement, and a stronger relationship with your dog. • Play skills and discovering what your dog finds rewarding—even if they aren't motivated by food or toys. • Understanding canine body language, communication, and behavior. • Creating realistic routines and training plans that fit your lifestyle. Every dog is an individual. During your free evaluation call, we'll discuss your goals, training history, and current challenges to determine whether Virtual Coaching is the right fit for your situation.
How Does Virtual Coaching Work?
Virtual Coaching combines live coaching sessions, personalized guidance, and ongoing support to help you and your dog make meaningful progress. During our live sessions, we'll discuss your goals, review your progress, troubleshoot challenges, and create a clear plan for moving forward. Depending on your goals, I may ask you to demonstrate specific exercises, show me how your dog responds in certain situations, or submit videos between sessions for additional feedback. Because every dog, owner, and lifestyle is different, there is no one-size-fits-all training plan. Together, we'll focus on the dog in front of you and make adjustments as needed to help you reach your goals. Most of the progress happens between sessions, which is why owners should be prepared to practice for at least 15 minutes a day and apply what they learn in real-life situations.
Will I Need To Purchase Additional Training Equipment?
It depends on your goals, your dog's needs, and what equipment you already have. In many cases, we can get started with the tools you already own. Additional training equipment is not automatically required to participate in Virtual Coaching. As we work together, we may discuss the benefits and limitations of various training tools, such as long lines, elevated dog beds, slip leads, prong collars, remote collars, and other management or training equipment. My goal is not to sell you equipment, but to help you make informed decisions based on your individual situation and goals. If additional tools would help you and your dog make progress more safely, clearly, or efficiently, I'll explain the options and answer any questions you may have. The final decision is always yours. When specialized equipment is recommended, I only recommend products that meet my standards for quality, safety, and reliability.
