This program is like a sleep away camp for your dog—with a purpose.
Our Board & Train program is about helping your dog become more confident, capable, resilient, and prepared for life's challenges; while helping you feel empowered, supported, and proud of your dog again. Because the goal isn't just better behavior. The goal is a calmer home, easier outings, greater freedom, and more joy for everyone involved.
A Meet & Greet is REQUIRED prior to signing up to our Board & Train program. It's a non-refundable, one-time $300 and if Client enrolls to our program, then it will be applied towards the full price. The Meet & Greet is NOT a training session.

Everyday Training & Life Skills
50% of the full price is due at the time of booking and the balance is due on the first day of training. Price includes: - Training and boarding in trainer's home - 1 x approx. 2-3 hours hands-on session at client's location at the end of the training program - 1 x approx. 1-2 hours follow up session at a location of client’s choice within 6 months of completion of the training program - Lifetime support - Slip leash with safety clip (if needed) - E-collar with customized contact points based on dog's fur type and sensitivity (E-collar Technologies Inc.) - 15' long line - Elevated dog bed - Written WAOK9 Lifestyle Guide - Video updates on Instagram - Proper socialization at a rate that suits your dog - Field trips to generalize the dog's well manners and obedience skills in different environments before returning home - Tax.
WHO YOUR DOG WILL LIVE WITH: Every trainee dog lives in Mariann's home. As the owner and head trainer of We Are One K9 Training, Mariann provides a highly personalized, in-home Board & Train experience alongside her three helper dogs who play an important role in many of our training programs. Over the years, her dogs have helped raise countless puppies, supported the rehabilitation of many reactive dogs, and taught valuable social skills that simply can't be replicated through human interaction alone. Because every dog is different, interactions are always carefully supervised and tailored to your dog's individual needs, temperament, and training goals. When appropriate, your dog may learn through structured play, social time, parallel walks, coexisting around other dogs, and observing calm, appropriate behavior from experienced canine role models. When rest is needed, rest is respected. When space is needed, space is provided. And when support is needed, support is available. By limiting our available Board & Train spots, we're able to provide a level of personalized attention, training, and care that many larger facilities simply cannot offer. Our home-based training experience is designed to create a safe, peaceful, and supportive environment where your dog can slow down, learn, grow, and practice new skills while becoming part of our daily life.
